$30.00

Blue vervain reminds us of the importance of slowing down and settling into the present moment. After picking it I took it back to my home to wash it, clean it, apply some vibrational tunes to it via my tuning fork, and tincture it.

Now, that I’ve told you a little bit about how I stumbled upon this purple beauty, let’s take a moment to learn more about Blue Vervain and its medicinal properties.

Blue Vervain (Verbana Hastata) is a relaxing, cooling, and drying herb. It has a rather bitter taste and its’ aerial parts are used for medicinal healing. It relaxes and tonifys the nervous system. If you’re feeling uptight or have a personality that desires to control the nature of events this may be the herb for you. Today, this plant is given to the person who is fixed in their ways, opinions, and outlooks on life.

It can be added to formulas (other nervine)to help ease tension, but also is great to use alone. It is recommended to take this herb over a period of time, in small and frequent drop dosages.

This herb is good for an overactive digestive track, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, the lymphatic system, (colds, coughs , respiratory) to increase breast milk, tension, (specific to neck, shoulders, headaches) high blood pressure brought upon by liver heat, uterine tonic, (specifically for relaxing menstrual cramps or to bring on the menses when delayed via pelvic congestion or uterine weakness.
